The list below includes fishery products that can originate from Belgian fishing vessels with a Fisheries Sustainability Approval and can be offered to the consumer by approved operators. These fish species are landed sufficiently frequently so that operators can meet the conditions for obtaining a VV recognition. In addition to the fish species listed below, there are species that are landed less frequently under Fisheries Sustainability Approval, such as sea bass, sprat, herring, mackerel and cod.
